Taylor AB2 Acoustic Bass. This bass was designed by Bob Taylor and Steven Klein back in 2000. It is an art nouveau inspired design. What a beast of a thing, with its all solid body made with Brazilian walnut. The neck is mahogany and the fingerboard is ebony. 
Scale length is 863.6mm
It has a battery port at the base of the bass with a Fishman ABGP-2 pickup onboard. 
The very interesting thing is the skeletal frame within the body designed to transfer string pressure out to the sides so that the top can vibrate freely. It is brilliant, it sounds brilliant and it is very cool. The perfect collectors item. It comes with a semi soft case.
